Integrated Circuit Design
Produce engineers who have the ability to design semiconductor chips using both digital and analog technology. The lecture covers all design stages starting from design specifications, Modeling Systems, Architectural Design, RTL Coding, Schematic, FPGA Prototyping, Layout, until ready for Tape Out. Applications include the latest technologies such as AI Accelerator, Wireless Communication (5G/6G), Security Accelerator and Processor Design. Students will work on a specific design topic from start to finish. As long as they have the skills, students can work at Fabless design house, Foundry and Wafer Fab companies.
