About Study Program

The ITB Marine Engineering Study Program is a study program that focuses on engineering sciences related to coastal and offshore structures and infrastructure. This study program provides international classes with English as the main language of teaching. Through knowledge that includes basic knowledge of science and mathematics, basic engineering knowledge, professionalism, application, design, and marine engineering, Marine Engineering graduates are expected to be able to compete at national, regional and international levels.

Graduate Learning Outcomes

Master adequate knowledge and insight into mathematics and other relevant fields, with a relatively deep understanding of certain sub-fields of mathematics and be able to apply it in problem-solving;

Able to demonstrate adequate basic mathematical skills, such as observing, recognizing, collecting, and utilizing data, as well as calculating, estimating, interpreting, and other standard technical skills related to each course, both with and without the assistance of supporting technology;

Able to demonstrate adequate mathematical abilities, which include the ability to reason, make connections, solve problems, and communicate;

Able to carry out and complete a job/task as well as develop something relatively new, both independently and in a team/group of mathematicians or across expertise, including making and presenting reports, both orally and in writing;
