Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLO) carried by the course
CPMK Code | Course Learning Outcomes Elements (CLO) |
---|---|
CPMK 1 | Understand the concepts, fundamental principles and methods of parametric modelling for design performance simulation |
CPMK 2 | Understand the concepts, fundamental principles and simulation methods related to sunlight |
CPMK 3 | Able to use modelling and simulation methods related to sunlight to measure design performance. |
Learning Method
- Learning in a computer room or space that allows students to use a Laptop, which includes face-to-face lectures and programming practicum tutorials, discussions working on simple program exercises and making individual assignments. Structured assignments to be able to demonstrate understanding and ability of simple parametric modelling and simulation of architectural systems and components in buildings to improve building performance. Independent activities in the form of online learning from several sources to develop abstraction and parametric programming skills for modelling and simulating design performance, identifying problems that can be abstracted as computational performative problems.
Learning Modality
- Offline / face-to-face with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous online using Zoom and Edunex media. Discussion of parametric simulation modelling cases or problems in class.
Assessment Methods
- Assessment is based on student performance in class as well as assignments with the following distribution Activeness in class 10% Assignment 1: Performative Modelling on Massing 45% Task 2: Performative Simulation on Architectural Components 45%
