About Study Program

The ITB Marine Engineering Study Program is a study program that focuses on engineering sciences related to coastal and offshore structures and infrastructure. This study program provides international classes with English as the main language of teaching. Through knowledge that includes basic knowledge of science and mathematics, basic engineering knowledge, professionalism, application, design, and marine engineering, Marine Engineering graduates are expected to be able to compete at national, regional and international levels.

Graduate Learning Outcomes

Mastering knowledge about the history, theory, and critique of design and its relationship with the cultural diversity and natural resources of the archipelago.

Able to conduct independent research and/or design projects, from the utilization of information, management of processes and operational procedures, data collection and analysis methods, to the dissemination of work results.

Mastering various methods and strategies to solve design problems through research work or design projects by leveraging relevant interdisciplinary knowledge.

Mastering bibliographic literacy and other information sources, both physical and electronic, to develop insights, understanding, skills, and knowledge in the field of design.

Able to disseminate research or design project results to the public/general society, whether presented in written, oral, or visual form.
