Bio and Medical Instrumentation System Engineering
Bio and medical instrumentation systems engineering is designed to integrate the principles of biology, health, and engineering to solve problems in medicine and biotechnology. With this concentration, students are expected to have knowledge and skills related to: • Design, operation, and maintenance of biomedical instruments and devices. • Experimental design to test and refine biomedical devices • Ability to integrate human, device/hardware, and environmental aspects to meet the needs of the biological and medical fields. After completing this concentration, students can pursue careers in the fields of Biomedical engineer, Product Development Engineer, R&D engineer.
