Smart Product Design
Specialization scheme that emphasizes a multi-disciplinary approach that combines aspects of industrial product design, digital technology-based engineering, digital business, cognitive ergonomics, and user experience. Through this specialization program, students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to develop smart products for daily life that are innovative, functional, user-friendly and commercially valuable. Learning content includes: • User Experience Design • Design Thinking and Innovation I • Business of Design • Interdisciplinary Projects Specifically, the course content deals with product development that has the dimensions of autonomy, adaptability, independent reactivity, multifunctionality, natural interaction, and has commercially viable potential. In lectures, students are directed to develop networking and design cooperation together in groups through team-based projects and practical experience with professional practitioners from various related disciplines.
