Skema spesialisasi yang menekankan pada pendekatan multi-disiplin yang menggabungkan antara aspek desain produk industri, rekayasa berbasis teknologi digital, bisnis digital, ergonomi kognitif, dan pengalaman pengguna. Melalui program spesialisasi ini, mahasiswa dibekali dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan untuk mengembangkan produk pintar untuk kehidupan keseharian yang inovatif, fungsional, ramah pengguna (user-friendly) dan bernilai komersial. Konten pembelajaran meliputi: • Desain Pengalaman Pengguna • Berpikir Desain dan Inovasi I • Bisnis Desain • Proyek Lintas Disiplin Secara khusus muatan mata kuliah berkenaan dengan pengembangan produk yang memiliki dimensi otonomi (autonomy), kemampuan beradaptasi (adaptability), kemampuan bereaksi secara independent (independent reactivity), kemampuan multifungsi (multifunctionality), interaksi natural (natural interaction), dan memiliki potensi komersialisasi (commercially viable) Dalam perkuliahan mahasiswa diarahkan untuk mengembangkan jejaring dan kerjasama desain bersama-sama dalam kelompok melalui proyek (team-based project) dan pengalaman praktika (practical experience) dengan praktisi profesional yang berasal dari berbagai disiplin ilmu terkait.
